During the months of June, July and August several cultural events take place under the auspices of the Greek Festival of Athens and Epidaurus 2016, this includes some adaptations of ancient Greek works by famous Greek actors and directors. However, the festival is not exclusively Greek. It also features works of international artists such as Rodrigo García, Elizabeth Marie, Jan Lauwers and Lola Arias among others. The choice is immense: within three months, across eleven venues, and through four different cultural means. You can see a detailed program with specific information for each event here.

An alluring bay on the tranquil island of Folegandros.

The tranquil island of Folegandros has been a long-time favourite among artists and intellectuals who prefer this destination to other more cosmopolitan islands. The traditional character and genuine island spirit of Folegandros fuels their inspiration. At the end of July, and for three days, Folegandros welcomes an influx of Jazz sounds, starting with the boutique hotel Anemi Hotel which will be hosting the first event on 28th July: the musical duet Project Point 2, two cosmopolitan jazz composers, Petros Klampanis and Christos Rafalides presenting their own plus remakes of Jazz classics.

Anemi Hotel is a proud sponsor of this festival, and will also host the closing event by the radio producer and director George Mouchtaridis. You can find the full program for the Anemi Jazz festival here.
