We should all experience a trip to Istanbul once in our lifetime. The architecture, the culture and the traditions are worth the visit. Yet, it would be a pity not to go any further… you should at least visit this city and try some of its delicacies.
Back at school, in History class, Turkey used to ignite my imagination. I could do nothing but dream about it. And now… Now, I’m on my way to Istanbul. I cannot believe it. I’m heading to Der Saadet, the Gate to Prosperity.
Würzburg. Before departing I had mixed feelings about it. It was the first solo trip in a long time, and even though mom needs a break from time to time, the idea of my kids missing me was breaking my heart.
Located between the most important cities, Heraklio and Chania, Rethymno has one of the best preserved old districts on the island. Buildings dating back to the 16th century give an aristocratic atmosphere to the area.
Ierapetra, southernmost town of Europe on the Libyan sea. In front of it lies the desert Chrissi Island, paradise comes true. Shallow clear waters and white sand. Other beaches to visit: Makrigialos, Dragon’s Cave, all with an outstanding turquoise sea.
Once upon a time we visited Mykonos. And we did it as a family. You may think it’s a place for solo travelers or couples, but it proved child-friendly. Beaches are paradise and the city has magical views to photo lovers.
